The Helen and Joe Farkas Center for the Study of the Holocaust in Catholic Schools is a youth-centered, interfaith nonprofit based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We use survivor testimony—live, recorded, and through descendants—as the foundation for transformative learning experiences that foster critical thinking, compassion, and civic responsibility.
Through partnerships with Catholic, public, and independent schools, we integrate high-quality Holocaust education into diverse classroom settings and support educators with the resources, training, and pedagogical tools they need to teach this history responsibly confidently and with care.
