Kristallnacht Commemoration
The Kristallnacht Commemoration serves to teach us about the precursors of the Holocaust. Translated as the Night of Broken Glass, it refers to the state-sponsored anti-Jewish violence in Germany and Austria, which occurred the night of November 9, 1938. The events of that night represent an important turning point in antisemitic policy that ultimately led to the Holocaust.
