Susan Shear

Susan Prinz Shear has a BA in Education and an MA in School Psychology. She studied at Yad Vashem’s International School for Holocaust Studies in Israel and Poland, interviewed Holocaust survivors for the Shoah Foundation and worked with Holocaust Programs nationwide. Susan heard little about her own family’s Holocaust experiences until she uncovered 500 family letters written in and out of Germany. Using these letters, she created workshops, curriculum, and a stage play, all entitled No Way Out. Her play has been presented at universities, schools, theatres and history centers throughout the country including the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. Susan is grateful to be working with the Farkas Center to teach new generations about this painful history.
